American LaMancha Club - Production Award Nomination Form

The following are the requirements for nominating an animal for a Production Award.

1) Please send a copy of the DHIR INDIVIDUAL DOE PAGE for lactation completed by March 1st of the current year for each nominated doe. These are the only lactation records that will be accepted as proof.  

2) These awards are open to Purebreds, Americans, Experimentals and Grades owned by members of the American LaMancha Club.  

3) Recorded Grades animals must meet the ADGA breed standard for LaManchas; Experimental animals must have at least one LaMancha parent.   Entries that do not meet one of these requirements will be returned.  

 4) Check box next to qualifying description below. Complete form and mail with photocopies, together with appropriate fees to chairman listed below.

5) Please make copies of this form for additional does. DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES TO BE POSTMARKED IS APRIL 10TH of CURRENT YEAR--MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN APRIL 15TH--NO EXCEPTIONS!!

6) An ALC member must be the current owner of the animal whose records are being submitted. The Production program is open to all ALC members in good standing, (dues current). Non-members may join ALC concurrently, providing that the $15.00 annual membership fee is also enclosed. All payments must be included with entry forms. Membership must be paid by the time the entries are submitted and will be for the current year.

PRODUCTION AWARDS: Check box in front of the award you are applying for.

GOLD EARRING AWARD   At least 3,000 lbs of milk OR 120 lbs of butterfat in 305 days or less

 SILVER EARRING AWARD  2,500 to 2,999 lbs of milk OR 100 lbs of butterfat in 305 days or less

 DIAMOND EARRING AWARD  Permanent Champion (ADGA GCH) or Master Champion (AGS MCH)--producing 3,000 lbs of milk or 120 lbs of butterfat in 305 days or less

 LIFETIME AWARD  10,000 lbs of milk and 400 lbs of butterfat in any number of lactations  (This is a one-time award)

 GRAND AWARD   Any doe over the age of 6 milking 2,000 lbs or more

 DIAMOND SIRE AWARD  Diamond Sire has 3 or more daughters qualifying for any of the

production awards listed above. List daughters’ names and registration numbers below.
